After that, we will break for lunch. After lunch, we will continue to visit Angkor Wat and watch the sunset at Bakheng mountain or Pre Rup temple. Sunset is optional and only if the weather allows.

We recommend the Cambodian circus. It is fantastic, incredible and unique. Don’t miss it. It starts from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Please let us know if you are interested and we can help you to make an advance booking.

Day 2: Remote Tours

We suggest to leave at 8:00 am from your hotel to learn about the real local lifestyle of Cambodian at Kampong Phluk village(means “Harbor of the Tusks” ) early before it gets too hot. There are about 2600 families living in this community catching fishes. They have been living along the bank of the largest lake in South Asia called Tonle Sap Lake for a long time. You can see their traditional houses which are very unique and interesting because some houses are houseboat and some others are standing on stilts. We can guarantee no tourist scam if you come with our professional tour guide and you will enjoy this private tour with a peace of mind.

We will stop for lunch on the way to Beng Mealea temple. Our tour guide will take you to a local restaurant and they serve food for local tourists and foreign tourists. We will move to enjoy our temple tour in Beng Mealea which is known as the temple of trees. This temple is the most ruined stone temple and it is also one of the largest scale temples in Angkor Park.

Please ask your hotel staff to prepare a takeaway breakfast before we embark on the sunrise tour as we will not come back to the hotel until we finish with the temple tour. Our tour guide will come and pick you at 4:40 am and head straight to the remarkable Angkor Wat temple to watch the stunning sunrise. Sometimes we will miss the sunrise during the monsoon season from June to November due to the weather. Your tour guide will help to find the best site and you can enjoy breakfast after sunrise. We should arrive at Ta Prom temple before 9:00 am during high season because it will be very crowded and noisy. So our guide will bring you this famous temple as soon as you have done finish your breakfast. Generally, all Angkor temples are open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm except the Angkor Wat temple which is opened at 5:00 am to 5:30 pm. After exploring the Ta Prom temple, our guide brings will bring you to several Hindu and Buddhist temples in the Grand Circuit such as Preah Khan, Neak Pan, Tasom and East Mebon. Day 4: River of a thousand Lingas

Your tour guide will meet you at 8:00 am or we can meet you any time before 9:30 am due to the distance of the journey. Before we go up to Phnom Kulen mountain, we have to take you to buy the entrance ticket of National Park. On the way, we will drive through the rural villages before reaching the most mystical mountain in Cambodia, Phnom Kulen mountain. It takes about 1 hour and a half from Siem Reap town to the mountain. This mountain is the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire and it was one of the oldest capital cities of Angkor. What we can see on the mountain is the source of water of SIEM REAP river which is commonly known as “River of a thousand lings” because there are about one thousand Shiva Lings carving in the river under the surface of the water from the early of ninth-century and the water in this river is considered holy and belief that it can wash away sin from our body.

After visiting the waterfall, we will walk up to a 16th-century Buddhist monastery name as Wat Preah Ang Thom where we can see Cambodia’s largest 16th century reclining Buddha statue. We will leave from Phnom Kulen Mountain to Banteay Srei temple around midday and have lunch at the nearby stop.

After an hour lunch break, we will continue to see red sandstone temple called Banteay Srei temple and Banteay Samre temple and head back to your hotel.
